"Dynamic" sites are typically when the data (words and pictures) of the site are held seperately from the structure. As the Internet viewers calls up a page, the data is "dynamically" injected at that time. Content Management Systems.

CMS sites are also dynamic. The key benefit is that the content of the site is seperated from the design allowing content within the site to be updated by you. Essentially if you are competent with a word processor, you should be able to update a simple CMS system.

As the site owner, you simply log in through an administrator "back door", and change the content of your pages, using an on-screen editor that looks very similar to something like Microsoft Word.
