Sarah Barry, M.D. of Stray FM. (Commercial radio station in North Yorkshire).
“Stray FM is a commercial radio station based in Harrogate, we have worked with TDF Media on numerous occasions.
We asked TDF to interview some of our key clients for video testimonials. The videos were used for a presentation at our annual business conference where we sell advertising to hundreds of local companies. This year alone, the seminars have grossed over £300K for us on the strength of the video testimonials.
In our experience, the video aspect worked so well because it’s your clients endorsing you, rather than yourself, which is far more powerful because it’s sincere, not contrived.
We found the videos engaged our audience for longer in the actual presentation and being an audio medium, we were keen to sell our product with sound and pictures rather than just a dull power point presentation. Tony has a knack of making the client feel relaxed, getting the right information out of them so with great editing, the videos came out slick, professional and very natural.
TDF has also worked with us on our Local Hero Awards (similar to the Pride of Britain Awards). They filmed all 27 finalists in their homes, businesses, charities etc… The end result was amazing. We have hosted the Local Hero Awards for 5 years, this is the first year we have used video and it was our best year yet. The emotion that came through from seeing the videos on the night could not have been achieved with just pictures or words, just a 30 second video told a thousand words and said all that was needed to get ‘their story’ across.
Apart from the quality of the videos which is exceptional, TDF are very easy to work with, full of ideas, professional and excellent with clients, they are simply perfectionists! Nothing is too much trouble and I would recommend TDF Media to any company thinking of using video.”
Douglas Kemp, Trustee at S.T.E.P (Leeds-based charity providing support to the elderly)
“The professionalism and creativity of TDF Media was clearly evident during the filming of the STEP video.
The skillful editing enabled TDF Media to capture the essence of STEP’s work, and the video now has pride of place on the STEP website.
It has already proved to be a key factor in a series of successful funding bids, demonstrating the strength and impact that video has in getting vital messages across to clients and customers.”
